ROTARIAN OF THE WEEK  – Kera Snell, Club Member since 2018

Kera was born and raised in Belize City, Belize and started her Rotary career as a Rotaractor at the age of 21.

In 2009, she took a leap of faith and moved from Belize to Tampa FL.  with her 2 boys (oldest now 27 yrs serving in the Air Force and youngest 14yrs Chef Jahrid, (recipes can be seen monthly in Santa Monica Star).

In July 2017, she married Barry Snell and moved to Santa Monica!!

She has over 25 years’ experience in the Hospitality Industry and holds a master’s degree in Hospitality Management from University of South Florida.  She became an entrepreneur at age 25 and has travelled the Caribbean as a marketing consultant for tourism boards.

She is owner of Blades Solutions, a marketing agency.  She is a co-founder of the Santa Monica Black Lives Association and a partner of Jahvy International, an import/export company.  She is also a certified life and business coach. In her spare time…she enjoys dancing, cooking, bike riding and lately her “alone time” with her husband, which is a 4-6mile walk around Santa Monica neighborhoods.
