ROTARIAN OF THE WEEK  – Tammy Andrews, Club Member since 2016

Tammy is a former VP of Programs in our Club.  She is President of the Santa Monica Bar Association, where she served on the Board of Directors for decades.  She is a Board Member and Treasurer of the Jonathan Club Art Foundation and a Board Member of Ghost Ranch in New Mexico.

She was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and is a Family Law Specialist, certified by the State Bar of California, Board of Specialization. Tammy has been in practice over 33 years.  A major part of her practice is drafting PreNups and PostNups.  With a background as a trial attorney, she litigates, sometimes over zoom, all family law matters, such as Domestic Violence Restraining Orders, custody, visitation, and complex property division.

Her practice focuses on representing professionals and their spouses in marital dissolution actions, where the issues include business valuation, property disputes, and complex child and spousal support. She also handles high conflict custody disputes, the prosecution, and defense of domestic violence claims, paternity actions, and premarital agreements.

Her pride and joy are her two kids, both graduates of Carlthorp Elementary where they obtained a solid foundation in education, thanks to Dee Menzies.  Her daughter Emily is in her last year at Loyola Law School.  Emily’s new husband Rich is attending USC Marshall Business School.  Her son Charlie is working at a cryptocurrency start-up in San Francisco.

Love of her life:  Walter, a senior lap-dog.

Hobbies:  Include traveling, hiking, walking Walter in his doggy stroller, Pilates, and dabbling in Cryptocurrency investments.
