September 15th was a great day at Rotary! Our speaker was Marc Wanamaker talking about film making in Santa Monica, and both he and folks from the SM History Museum brought displays to share!
Marc was full of stories and facts about the origins of film making in Santa Monica dating back to the early 1900s!
Drew Fleming and guest Carol Lemlein check out Marc's fascinating photos of early film making locations.
Susan Gabriel Potter, Rotarian and president of the Santa Monica History Museum, stands with Sarah Crown, archivist from the SM History Museum, who brought wonderful additional displays!
RoseMary Regalbuto let us know about the District Peace Celebration on Sept. 21st called Winds of Freedom!
And Andrea Gressinger, Co-Chair of the Wine Festival, gave us an update on the event and led us in applause for the members who are working so hard to organize the event! Don't forget to buy your tickets!  CLICK HERE!
