Labor Day is a federal holiday in the United States celebrated on the first Monday in September to honor and recognize the American labor movement and the works and contributions of laborers to the development and achievements of the United States.
I trust that each of you have enjoyed and celebrated with family and friends this past weekend. For me the weekend was filled with family, friends, food, fellowship, and fun. The Rotary District 5280’s Picnic in Redondo Beach was an adventure filled with excitement on Saturday afternoon. I also had a new and wonderful experience with our Club and their families and friends at The Angel Party Saturday evening at David Rosenfeld’s home. What fun, the women in red or black wearing their red angel wings and the men sporting red horns, some like Mike Kalloff’s and Kinan Aljamal’s horns glowed with red lights.
I hope you all are looking forward to another exciting in-person meeting this coming Friday. Join us at the Hilton.
