The Club’s Program for May 21st is a discussion of one of the most important set of problems which this country has faced during the past four decades -- identifying the culprits of pedophilia in large established organizations, most notably churches; establishing appropriate treatment of victims; and putting into place an effective mechanism to minimize future misconduct.  The Club, through one of its members, is bringing to Los Angeles, Roderick MacLeish, lead counsel for the plaintiffs’ victims, who will discuss the landmark settlement with the Boston Archdiocese.
Eric has appeared on the Oprah Winfry Show, CNN and  NBC Dateline and this will be his first West Coast appearance since these cases were resolved.

The last time Santa Monica College Musical Theater performed for us was in December of 2000. This archive photo  is one of my favorites. This picture was taken by our own world famous photographer and attorney Harmon Sieff. The Caption read "Musical Theater Workshop students sang their hearts out for us to the tune of a standing ovation". Don't miss this program, you won't be disappointed.
