02/01/02 We are celebrating our 80th BIRTHDAY. It was 80 years ago that our Rotary Club began. Celebrate with us on Friday evening, February 1, at the Casa del Mar Hotel. Such a classy event will surely give you something to brag about to your friends. Our black and white theme will reflect the fun and festivities of the '20s. It was a time of the first transatlantic flight, prohibition, speakeasies and bootleg whiskey. Who knows? Mary Pickford or Rudolph Valentino may show up! Be sure you do! More details coming. |
