This event was attended by President Lionel Ruhman, Elza Ruhman, our Chef PP Spyros Dellaportas, Donna Dellaportas, June Doy (Web Reporter Lois Lane), PP John Lehne, Kay Lehne, President-elect Paul Leoni, Marilyn Leoni, Diane Margolin, Bob Sullivan and Kathleen Sullivan, Chairman Phillip Tirone, Msgr. Lloyd Torgerson (Arnold's Favorite Rev.) and Allan Young, to help support the community through St. Monica's annual fall fund-raising event. Our club participated in the "Chili Cook-off" for Service Clubs. Our club was recognized for the "best organization". As the pictures below show, a great time was had by all.

Award winning chef! Spyros did an amazing job for a guy who had just lost a tooth. Allan Young reported to us at lunch that Spyros lost a tooth earlier in the day and it was doubtful if he would be able to fulfill his head chef duties. Well Spyros came through, he not only put together a great batch of Chili, he helped Santa Monica win first place!
