The Salvation Army Kettle Day
Ringing the Bell
More than a dozen Rotarians participated in "Ringing the Bell" for
the Salvation Army. Despite the rain, the bell ringing took place all day on
December 14, 2001 from 10:00 a.m. to 6: 00 p.m. It was held on the corner of
Wilshire & 3rd Street in front of Barnes & Noble. To
top off the event, a Counting Party
was held that evening at Encino State Bank. The Rotarians raised a
great deal of money for the Salvation Army, and a great time was had by all.

the bell not only helps raise a lot of money for the Salvation Army,
it also helps keep Bill's wrists in shape for next years Rotary Golf
