Tom Larmore and his wife, Karon, both UCLA graduates, have lived in Santa Monica since 1975.  Their two children, Lisa and Wes, graduated from Santa Monica High School and then from USC making for an interesting split in family allegiances.

Tom received his Bachelors Degree in Physics in 1965 and his law degree in 1968.  After brief stints with the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the Federal Reserve Board, he worked with two different large downtown Los Angeles law firms beginning in 1971 specializing in commercial real estate transaction.  In 1999, he relocated to Santa Monica to join Chris Harding, Ken Kutcher and Kevin Kozal in their real estate practice..

Tom has been active in community affairs, having served as a member of the Santa Monica Planning Commission and the Santa Monica Charter Review Commission.  He served as Chair of the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce in 2007-2008 and received a Small Business Advocate of the Year Award from the California Chamber of Commerce in 2003.

When he has time, Tom enjoys playing the guitar, spending time with his two granddaughters, Emily and Lauren, and relaxing at the beach while daydreaming about what he will do when retirement finally becomes economically feasible.
