announces that in addition to all the fun, we raised
about $10,000 for our international programs |

on the importance of early childhood education |

Carol levies some heavy fines today.
First up
is Eric Schmitter for his trip to Cape Cod and
his new cash-for-clunkers Prius |

Paul Gaulke and Glenn Ricard
shared a fine --
actually, it seemed more like a service charge for
President Carol have to make a special delivery of
their trophies from the Carlthorp School golf
tournament.
They had left early before the trophies were handed out. |
Ray Briem was recognized for
the several great radio shows
he had with Les Paul as his guest. Les Paul is credited with
inventing the solid-base electric guitar, causing a sea change
in popular music.
President Carol reported that Ray has a star on the
Hollywood Walk of Fame. |

Glenn Ricard got a solo fine
for his family vacation in Connecticut...
He says he caught 30 fish and no big ones got away. |
Alonzo Hill was fined for
his Washington, DC family
vacation. Reported that he went to all the usual landmarks
and museums, but denied that he visited either Quantico
or the J. Edgar Hoover Building |

Judy Neveau was fined for
her study tour in Turkey.
She claimed that no alcohol was consumed because
Turkey is a Muslim country.
Carol expressed skepticism.
Judy also stopped of in Berlin to visit the head of
the German GSE team who has stayed with her
when that team visited us several years ago. |

Julia Miele, Executive
Director of the Santa Monica YWCA
tells us about her prior work at the AIDS Healthcare
Foundation and the American Cancer Society.
She has also worked in India and Japan.
Julia lives in Santa Monica with her daughter Isabella
and Isabella's guinea pig, Princess Mabell
