with our speaker Daniel Armstrong
Daniel Armstrong, motivational speaker and author of the book How to
Live Your Dreams: Find A Tree and Get Started told us about his Find A
Tree education program. The program has been credited with transforming
the lives of students throughout Los Angeles, teaching them to identify
and take the necessary steps toward achieving their dreams. Find a Tree
is about self empowerment, self-actualization and self-fulfillment. Mr.
Armstrong wants us all to have a dream. Find a Tree connects education
to the dream so there is a reason to attend and excel at school. We can
throw money at the schools, but without hope, motivation, and dreams
nothing will change. |

Alex Kewchansky
B2B Fraud: when One Company Cheats Other Companies
Alex Kwechansky, a specialist in detecting and resolving deceptive and
fraudulent business behavior, shared with us areas where there is fraud
between companies that do business with each other. This is more
secretive and successful fraud and it happens daily. Some possible areas
where fraud might occur include: Partners, Lenders, Suppliers/Customers,
Ex-spouse (due to divorce), Government, Employees, Licensees,
Franchisees, Property Owners and even Accountants. This type of fraud is
rarely heard about in court because no one wants the bad publicity, and
consequently, the money is rarely recovered.
